Frequently Asked Questions for Certification Bootcamps

  • What are the hours of the bootcamp?

Our Certification Bootcamps run from 8am to 7pm, Monday through Saturday.

A continental breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided each day. Throughout the day coffee, juice, soda and snacks are available at no charge.

  • Do you guarantee that we will pass the certification exams?

While no one can legitimately guarantee that you will pass the exams, we will make every effort to provide you with the learning environment and instruction than will significantly increase your chances of passing the exams on your first attempt.

  • What are the Certifications to be obtained?

For Administrators, the certifications are:

  • MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring
  • MCITP: SharePoint Administrator 2010

For Developers, the certifications are:

  • MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development
  • MCPD: SharePoint Developer 2010
  • Will I need to rent a car?

There is no need to rent a car. As part of the hotel package you will receive vouchers for shuttle service between the hotel and airport. Also, the hotel offers its own free shuttle within a 5 mile radius. There is also a light rail connection close by that can take you downtown.

  • What prerequisites are there to attend the bootcamps?

For Administrators: proficient with IIS 7.0, DNS, Active Directory, and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (or later)

For Developers: 12 months with ASP.NET 3.5 with Visual Studio 2008 (or later)
